The Small Business Awards Taskfoce is currently soliciting nominations for our 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year and Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year awards. These awards give much-deserved attention to those who take the risk of starting and running business enterprises. Candidates for these awards are judged on business strategies, financial success and community involvement. Our Small Business Awards Task Force, made up of TwinWest members, will select the finalists in March 2010.

These finalists will be featured on the cover of Directions magazine, and the winners will be announced at the annual Small Business Awards Luncheon on May 20, 2010 at the Doubletree Park Place Hotel in St. Louis Park.

The two categories are:
TwinWest Entrepreneur of the Year - A TwinWest member entrepreneur who has established and maintained a successful business with $100 million or less in annual revenue, which is five or more years old.

TwinWest Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year - A TwinWest member entrepreneur who has established a company with $100 million or less in annual revenue, which is less than five years old and more than one year old and displays excellent growth potential.

All candidates must be TwinWest members for at least one-year by the end of May 2010 and the owner or visible leader of a successful small business with $100 million or less in annual revenue.
