Annual Trip to Washington D.C.

TwinWest has a strong history of involvement and advocacy on behalf of our members' business concerns at the local, regional, and state level. In 2006, we began to advance our efforts even further – all the way to Washington D.C.!

In a now-annual trip, TwinWest and interested members travel to our nation's capital to participate in the U.S. Chamber’s Small Business Summit. We meet with our federal elected officials, attend federal policy briefings prepared by U.S. Chamber staff, and collaborate with business leaders from around the country.

This trip is an excellent way for TwinWest – and you – to help create a positive business climate across the nation. Issues that impact your bottom line, such as health care, transportation, energy policy, and immigration, are directly affected by federal policy, so it's important that we make our voices heard at this level.

Join us for our 2008 trip from April 16-18!  View a tentative trip schedule here and Download a registration form.

"[TwinWest] bring[s] the candidates here, they bring the elected officials here, they bring the folks who are going to impact them, and their voice is heard. It's heard in their questions, their comments and their advocacy."

U.S. Senator Norm Coleman
